We’ll be happy to check your blood pressure. Come by the fire station on Churton Street anytime. Emergency call 911.
Why does the FD block the road at accident scenes?
We block traffic lanes for the safety of our personnel and our patients. Over 25 firefighters are killed or injured each year while working at incidents on streets and highways.

How does my FD affect my home/business insurance rate?
Insurance premiums for both residential and commercial structures can be impacted by multiple variables, including installation of sprinkler systems, construction material, square footage, number of stories/floors, distance from a fire station, etc. Insurance costs are also impacted by the ISO (Insurance Services Office) rating of the primary fire department covering a home or business. Our current ISO rating is Class 5 and the next evaluation is in 2024.
