Each year, the National Fallen Firefighter's Foundation hosts a remembrance for fallen firefighters that made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The darkest day in our department was when we lost Chief Holden following a Trench rescue response into a neighboring district. Chief Holden will forever be missed but never forgotten as each year we remember our friend, coworker and brother.
Please join us and show your appreciation to all of the firefighters that have given their lives in the service of others. Most importantly, please say a prayer for strength and healing for the friends and families left behind.
