We've been in contact with our folks on deployment to McDowell County. They are working long days clearing roads and helping the community to start the recovery from TS Helene.
All of our folks are tired and sore but in good sprits and glad they were able to help. We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of all of our firefighters both deployed and here at home!

Our personnel should demobilize on Sunday (10/6) and there's been no word as to whether there will be another request for assistance but we intend to continue supporting the recovery as long as there's a need.

We ask that you please continue to lift western North Carolina and our firefighters in you prayers and continue to give, donate and support those most impacted.
