The fire department annual open house will be Saturday June 13th from 9am to 5 pm. Bring the family out to Fire Station 1 in downtown Hillsborough to see the equipment, talk with some amazing fire and EMS folks and see what a day in the life of a professional firefighter looks like. We'll have fire trucks, an ambulance and many other pieces of equipment on display. Adults can brush up on their skills or just get out some anger with our Hurst Jaws of Life interactive demo. All next generation firefighters that visit us will have opportunities to try out being a junior firefighter and spraying water in our interactive demo. The first 80 children get a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream from The Town Scoop. Our firefighter's association will have baked goods, water, sodas and shirts for sale. Our friend and supporter Hillsborough Photography will also be on hand to show off their work. Come see what they can do for you. We hope to see everyone on Saturday June 13th at Fire Station 1 in downtown Hillsborough.
